William Powell rushed for 94 yards and a TD while also catching a scoring pass for Saskatchewan, which swept the season series from the Alouettes.

Eugene Lewis made eight catches for a season-high 130 yards and a touchdown while William Stanback recorded 83 scrimmage yards and a score for the Alouettes, who had won three straight.
Boris Bede booted a 32-yard field goal for the only points of the first quarter and added 18- and 29-yard kicks in the second as Montreal built to a 9-0 lead. The Roughriders responded with a five-play drive that culminated with Fajardo's 10-yard scoring strike to Powell and Lauther shook off a miss to convert a 14-yard attempt on the final play of the half as Saskatchewan grabbed a 10-9 advantage.
Stanback ran 4 yards for a score in the third quarter and Fajardo scooted 7 yards for a TD on the first play of the fourth before a botched punt snap led to a 5-yard touchdown run by Powell as the Roughriders took a 24-18 lead as Lauther missed the extra point.
