Roughriders 30, Stampeders 7: Duron Carter returned an interception 37 yards for a touchdown as Saskatchewan scored in all three phases to end Calgary's 17-game home winning streak and clinch a playoff spot in the process.

Brandon Bridge came off the bench to replace an ineffective Kevin Glenn and finished 10-of-19 for 133 yards as the Roughriders (9-7) notched their first win at McMahon Stadium since 2009. Vernon Adams Jr. rushed for a touchdown and Christion Jones added a special-teams score for Saskatchewan, which was forced to start Carter at cornerback due to injuries.

Bo Levi Mitchell was limited to 136 yards on 14-of-27 passing for the Stampeders (13-2-1), who saw their 11-game winning streak come to an abrupt end. Kamar Jorden hauled in six passes for 68 yards and Rene Paredes kicked two field goals for Calgary, which still can clinch the West Division title with a loss by Winnipeg on Saturday.

Jones returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown and Tyler Crapigna connected on a 26-yard field goal to put the Roughriders on top 10-1. Paredes converted a 26-yard attempt to trim the deficit to six and the Stampeders had a chance to take the lead, but Ed Gainey registered his league-best ninth interception with 33 seconds left in the second quarter to preserve Saskatchewan's 10-4 advantage.

The Roughriders capitalized on a fumble by Jorden as Adams rushed for a 1-yard touchdown before calling his own number on the two-point conversion to help Saskatchewan stretch its lead to 21-4. Carter, who has eight touchdown catches this season, picked off a pass by Mitchell and raced to the end zone to put an exclamation point on the Roughriders' first victory in the series in over four years.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Carter is the first Roughrider to catch a touchdown pass and return an interception for a score in the same season since Paul Williams in 1978. … Calgary WR Marken Michel, who is averaging a league-high 19 yards per reception, pulled his hamstring on the first series and did not return. … Glenn went 1-of-3 for 19 yards and was sacked twice before being replaced by Bridge. … Saskatchewan WR Chad Owens hauled in five passes for 78 yards after missing the previous 15 games with a leg injury.
