Alondes Williams tallied 20 points, seven rebounds and seven assists to help host Wake Forest cruise to an 87-57 victory over Boston College on Monday night.

The Demon Deacons (17-4, 7-3 Atlantic Coast Conference) won their fourth consecutive game and sixth in their past seven games, defeating the Eagles (8-10, 3-5) in what was their largest margin of victory this season in a conference game.

Jake LaRavia recorded his second consecutive double-double and the seventh of his career, finishing with 11 points and 10 rebounds in 25 minutes. LaRavia also blocked six shots.

Wake Forest had five players score in double figures overall as Daivien Williamson totaled 12 points. Dallas Walton and Khadim Sy each totaled 10 points.

Quinten Post led Boston College with 13 points while Makai Ashton-Langford totaled 10 points. Ashton-Langford, however, finished with just 3-of-16 shooting (18.8 percent).

The Eagles struggled from the field overall, shooting only 25.4 percent (18 for 71) and 24 percent (6 for 25) from 3-point range.

After Boston College scored the opening bucket of the game, the Demon Deacons took control early with a 10-0 run and led by as many as 18 points in the first half.

Wake Forest opened up a 33-point advantage in the second half as it continued to move the ball well and find high-quality shots and scoring chances at the rim. The Demon Deacons recorded 19 assists on 29 made field goals, which helped them shoot 53.7 percent for the game and outscore the Eagles 21-3 on fast break points. They also attacked the basket effectively, outscoring Boston College 40-20 in the paint, and made 21 of 23 free throws.

T.J. Bickerstaff added seven points, eight rebounds and four assists for Boston College, which lost for the seventh time in nine games.
