Drew Peterson scored 23 points Thursday night to lead five Southern California players in double figures as the 16th-ranked Trojans moved into second place in the Pac-12 Conference with a 94-91 double-overtime win over Oregon State in Corvallis, Ore.

Peterson also grabbed 10 rebounds, making him one of two Trojans with a double-double. Isaiah Mobley added 19 points and 10 boards for USC (24-4, 13-4 Pac-12), while Max Agbonkpolo chipped in 16 points.

Reese Dixon-Waters tallied 14 off the bench and Ethan Anderson netted 12 points, including a running hook with 1:13 left in the second OT that gave USC the lead for good at 91-89. The Trojans wound up with their fifth straight victory.

Oregon State forced overtime when Dashawn Davis, who scored a career-high 31 points, drained a pullup 3-pointer with 3.4 seconds left in regulation. Davis then banked home a shot in the lane with 19 seconds remaining in the first overtime to set up another extra period.

But Davis ran out of magic when he airballed an open 3-point attempt in the final four seconds of the second OT as the Beavers (3-23, 1-15) took their 13th consecutive loss.

Jarod Lucas added 18 points for Oregon State, while Maurice Calloo hit for 12 before fouling out. Glenn Taylor Jr. was good for 11 points.

Despite the losing streak, Oregon State and its eight scholarship players came out prepared to scrap with a heavy favorite. The Beavers took a 10-8 lead at the first TV timeout and led by five moments later.

The game was tied at 25 at the 5:48 mark when Dexter Akanno turned a USC turnover into a layup. At that point, the Trojans finally exerted themselves for a lengthy stretch with a 13-2 burst, capped by Agbonkpolo's layup in transition that gave them a 38-27 advantage.

But Oregon State fought back with six straight points, highlighted by Davis' fast-break dunk as he was fouled. Although Peterson made two free throws with two seconds left, USC's lead was just 40-33 at the half.
