Drew Peterson's game-winning 3-pointer with 14 seconds left capped a game-high, 20-point performance, and No. 16 Southern California won its sixth straight game, beating Oregon 70-69 on Saturday in Eugene, Ore.

The Trojans (25-4, 14-4 Pac-12) pulled ahead 67-66 with 42 seconds left when Isaiah Mobley scored two of his 17 points on a hook shot.

Oregon (18-11, 11-7) responded on the ensuing possession when Will Richardson drew defenders, leaving Quincy Guerrier wide open to sink a 3-pointer from the wing. It was the last of Richardson's game-high eight assists, and the Ducks pulled ahead for the ninth and final time on the night.

Peterson's subsequent 3-pointer gave USC its 10th lead of the contest, and the Trojans avoided a season sweep by the Ducks.

Mobley grabbed nine rebounds and Peterson had eight. Boogie Ellis and Reese Dixon-Waters each had eight points for the visitors.

Joshua Morgan went scoreless off the USC bench, but his presence was critical in the final seconds. Morgan contested Richardson's attempt at a game-winning basket with two seconds left while avoiding contact for a foul.

USC set a program record for most regular-season victories with Saturday's win. The Trojans remain alive for the Pac-12 regular-season championship thanks to No. 2 Arizona's loss at Colorado earlier in the night.

USC hosts Arizona on Tuesday, while Oregon returns to action Thursday at Washington.

Five Ducks scored in double figures, led by Guerrier with 15 points. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.

De'Vion Harmon finished with 13 points, N'Faly Dante notched 12, Jacob Young scored 11 and Eric Williams Jr. had 10. Despite the balanced offense, Oregon shot just 24 of 62 (38.7 percent) from the floor and 6 of 23 (26.1 percent) from 3-point range.

Richardson, Oregon's leading scorer on the season, went 0-of-8 from the field and finished with two points.
