Andrew Jones poured in 16 points and four other Texas players scored in double figures as the 15th-ranked Longhorns rolled to a 76-64 win over TCU on Sunday in the Big 12 Conference regular-season finale in Fort Worth, Texas.

Texas (17-7, 11-6 Big 12) clinched the third seed in the upcoming conference tournament and will play Thursday against sixth-seeded Texas Tech, which beat the Longhorns twice in the regular season.

The win was Texas' third straight on the road in a stretch of six days to finish the regular campaign.

The Horned Frogs (12-13, 5-11) will have to win the Big 12 Tournament to get into the NCAAs. TCU had clinched the eighth seed in the conference tournament prior to Sunday's game and will play ninth-seeded Kansas State in the first round on Wednesday.

Matt Coleman III added 14 points for the Longhorns, with Jericho Sims and Courtney Ramey scoring 13 apiece and Kai Jones hitting for 10 points for Texas.

RJ Nembhard led TCU with 13 points, with Mike Miles hitting 12 and Kevin Easley scoring 11.

Texas led by as many as seven points in a back-and-forth first half that saw four lead changes and four ties. With the game knotted at 25 after a 3-pointer by Miles with at the 4:19 mark, the Longhorns scored eight of the final 12 points and led 33-29 at halftime.

Sims led all players with 10 points, on 5 of 5 shooting from the floor, in the first half as Texas outshot the Horned Frogs 52 percent to 42 percent over the first 20 minutes. The Longhorns forced 12 TCU turnovers that they converted into 11 points in the half.
