Gonzaga has won the past 13 meetings with the Toreros, 24 of the last 25 and 46 of the past 49.

Finn Sullivan made four 3-pointers while scoring 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting for San Diego (2-7, 1-4), which lost for the fifth time in the past six games. Ben Pyle scored 12 points on four 3-pointers and Vladimir Pinchuk had 11 points for the Toreros.

San Diego shot 43.9 percent from the field and was 8 of 16 from 3-point range.

Gonzaga shot 57.6 percent from the field and made 8 of 19 from behind the arc.

The Bulldogs led 40-29 at halftime and started the second half much stronger than the beginning of the game.

Kispert's 3-pointer gave Gonzaga its first 20-point advantage of the contest at 55-35 with 13:31 left.

A steal and dunk by Suggs pushed the lead to 64-40 with 12 minutes to play.

The lead topped out at 28 points.

San Diego was the better team early in the contest and led 19-14 after a 3-pointer by Pyle with 8:52 left in the first half.

Timme followed with a three-point play and Suggs added a 3-pointer to give the Bulldogs their first lead at 20-19 with 8:12 remaining.

Those six points were part of a 15-0 burst. Strawther scored the final five points to give Gonzaga a 10-point advantage with 5:32 remaining.

Kispert capped the first-half scoring with a 3-pointer with 34.5 seconds remaining to make it an 11-point margin.
