No. 4 Wisconsin 92, No. 25 Indiana 78: Frank Kaminsky scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Nigel Hayes added 16 as the host Badgers torched the Hoosiers in Big Ten play.

Bronson Koenig scored 15 points and Sam Dekker had 14 points as Wisconsin (20-2, 8-1) won its fifth straight game. Josh Gasser added 11 points and the Badgers shot 60.4 percent from the field and went 28-of-31 from the free-throw line while defeating Indiana for the 14th time in the last 15 meetings.

Nick Zeisloft made five 3-point baskets and scored 17 points and Robert Johnson added 16 for the Hoosiers (16-7, 6-4). Troy Williams scored 14 points, Yogi Ferrell added 13 and Collin Hartman had 11 for Indiana, which went 13-of-24 from 3-point range.

The Badgers led by eight points at halftime and broke the game open by scoring the first 13 points of the second half to make it 57-36. Zak Showalter’s third three-point play of the half increased the lead to 76-44 before Indiana made a spirited charge to pull within 12 points with 3:17 remaining but Kaminsky answered with a jumper 30 seconds later to quell the surge.

Wisconsin scored the first nine points of the game before the Hoosiers answered with a 13-2 run to take a two-point edge. The Badgers responded with a 13-3 burst to take a 24-16 lead and Indiana later moved within two before Wisconsin finished strong and Dekker’s tip-in prior to the buzzer made it 44-36 at the break.
