The Bulldogs hit 7-of-9 from the floor the rest of the way - including Alex Barlow's steal for a three-point play with less than three minutes left and Jones' baseline drive for a three-point play less than a minute later - and got an offensive rebound from Barlow before Jones' game-winner.

Dunham made back-to-back baskets for an early 14-8 Butler edge but Chatman tied it with back-to-back 3-pointers. The Bulldogs went more than seven minutes without scoring a point, allowing Creighton built a 22-16 advantage after Brooks and Chatman hit consecutive 3-pointers and hold on to a four-point halftime lead.
