No. 10 Utah 75, Stanford 59: Delon Wright scored 15 points and Jordan Loveridge added 10 of his 12 in the second half as the Utes ran away from the visiting Cardinal.

Dallin Bachynski collected 13 points and six rebounds off the bench for Utah (19-4, 9-2 Pac-12), which remained undefeated at home this season. Brekkott Chapman contributed 12 points in a reserve role as the Utes took over first place in the Pac-12.

Anthony Brown scored 15 points and Marcus Allen added 13 as Stanford (16-8, 7-5) fell for the third time in four games. Pac-12 leading scorer Chasson Randle was scoreless in the first half and finished with 10 points on 2-of-11 shooting for the Cardinal.

Brown’s 3-pointer knotted it at 27 with two minutes left in the first half but Stanford turned it over on each of its next two possessions as Utah took a 33-27 lead at the break. The Utes did not allow a field goal for the first five minutes of the second half and Loveridge scored seven straight points to help open up a 48-29 cushion.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from Brown cut the deficit to 11 points and the Cardinal closed within 56-46 on Randle’s free throws with just under nine minutes remaining. Loveridge responded with a 3-pointer to spark a 10-2 surge and Utah was never seriously threatened down the stretch.
