No. 7 Gonzaga 88, San Francisco 57: Kevin Pangos scored 17 points, including 5-of-8 from 3-point range, and had five assists to lead the host Bulldogs to their eighth straight victory.

Przemek Karnowski finished with 16 points and Kyle Wiltjer added 15 points and five rebounds for Gonzaga (15-1, 4-0 WCC), which shot 52.5 percent from the floor. Freshman forward Domantas Sabonis finished with seven points and nine rebounds and Silas Melson added 10 points for the Bulldogs.

Kruize Pinkins scored 20 points, including 4-of-7 on 3-pointers, and Devin Watson added 11 points for San Francisco (7-10, 1-4), which lost its fourth straight game. The Dons have dropped 26 straight road contests to the Bulldogs in Spokane dating back to a 67-64 victory on Feb. 10, 1989.

San Francisco, behind a pair of 3-pointers by Pinkins, jumped out to a 11-7 lead after six minutes. But Wiltjer connected on three 3-pointers during a 14-1 run over the next five minutes and the Bulldogs went into halftime with a 37-27 lead.

The Dons twice cut the deficit to seven points early in the second half, the final time on a pair of free throws with a little more than 15 minutes remaining to make it 46-39. Gonzaga, which connected on 17 of its first 24 shots in the second half, broke the game open with a 16-2 run highlighted by 3-pointers by Pangos and Melson and led by as many as 33 points.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Bulldogs outrebounded the Dons 39-26, including 26-10 in the second half, and have outrebounded all 16 opponents this season. ... G Eric McClellan, a transfer from Vanderbilt who is expected to provide valuable depth the second half of the season for Gonzaga, became eligible this week but will be sidelined at least two weeks with a small crack to a bone in his right foot. ... The Bulldogs improved to 103-14 in January games under coach Mark Few.
