Boston College 67, Philadelphia University 50: Olivier Hanlan's 14 points led four scorers in double figures for the host Eagles, who snapped a three-game losing streak by turning back the Rams.

Alex Dragicevich had 12 points, including 4-of-5 from 3-point territory for Boston College (4-7). Ryan Anderson added 10 points and a game-high 13 rebounds while William Magarity scored all of his 10 points off the bench in the first half.

Derek Johnson's 15 points and seven rebounds led Philadelphia University (7-3), which was playing its second game in less than 24 hours in what was an exhibition game for the Rams. Nick Christian added 12 points and Nick Schlitzer had 10 points as the Rams shot 35.1 percent from the floor to end their three-game winning streak.

After trailing 33-25 at halftime, the Rams drew within 43-41 on a Johnson 3-pointer with 11:32 showing, but the Eagles answered with a 12-1 run — including back-to-back treys from Hanlan and Dragicevich — to go ahead 55-42 with just over seven minutes remaining. Boston College closed it out against the Rams' leg-weary lineup by finishing the game with an 8-3 run over the final 4:24.

The Rams' starters played the entire opening 24 minutes before having to go to their bench early in the second half when leading scorer Peter Alexis drew his fourth foul. Boston College led by as many as nine points in the first half, but the visitors were able to keep within striking distance despite hitting only 1-of-10 3-point attempts in the half to trail by eight at the break.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Philadelphia University shot only 4-of-23 from beyond the arc while Boston College was 8-of-22. ... The Rams forced 14 turnovers and only turned it over five times. ... Alexis finished with just six points, going 3-of-9 from the floor after averaging 19.4 points on 64.8 percent shooting this season.
