Illinois 66, No. 25 Iowa 63: Rayvonte Rice had 15 points and Jon Ekey hit the game-winning 3-pointer with 0.5 seconds left as the visiting Illini upset the Hawkeyes.

Ekey hit three 3s on the way to 12 points off the bench and Nnanna Egwu added 14 points and six rebounds for Illinois (18-13, 7-11 Big Ten). Kendrick Nunn added 10 points for the Illini, who finished the regular season winning four of five.

Aaron White had 12 points and eight rebounds to lead Iowa (20-11, 9-9). Adam Woodbury added 11 points while Mike Gesell had 11 points, five assists and no turnovers.

The Hawkeyes erased Illinois' quick start with a 17-1 run, getting six straight points from White before Gesell's jumper pushed Iowa ahead 23-21 with 6:26 left in the first half. Melsahn Basabe's buzzer-beater off an inbound lob gave Iowa a 34-29 halftime lead but Nunn and Tracy Abrams started the second half with 3s to keep the Illini close.

Ekey's three-point play started an 11-0 run that put Illinois ahead 59-54 with just under seven minutes left but Iowa battled back to a 63-all tie on Marble's layup and Gabriel Olaseni's putback after a turnover in the final minute. Ekey screened for Abrams and took the pass before knocking down the game-winner.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Illinois started the game 8-of-11 from the floor for a 20-6 lead six minutes in but went the next eight minutes without a field goal during Iowa's run. ... Iowa leading scorer Roy Devyn Marble scored eight points, the first time he didn't reach double digits in Big Ten play. ... Iowa had its streak of 30 straight home victories against unranked opponents snapped.
