Mississippi 88, LSU 74 (OT): Marshall Henderson returned from a two-game suspension to score 25 points, including six 3-pointers, and dished out seven assists as the Rebels outlasted the visiting Tigers.

Jarvis Summers recorded 20 points and eight assists as Ole Miss (11-5, 2-1 SEC) ended the game on a 23-5 run and scored the first 11 in overtime. Sebastian Saiz scored a career-high 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds while Aaron Jones added 13 points and 13 rebounds for the Rebels.

Andre Stringer led the way with a career-high 23 points on 7-of-10 from the field for LSU (10-5, 1-2), which shot 36.9 percent from the field. Shavon Coleman chipped in with 15 points, Jarell Martin scored 14 and Jordan Mickey added seven blocks for the Tigers.

Stringer scored 10 in the first half as the Tigers led by as many as nine, but 11 turnovers allowed Mississippi to battle back. Saiz recorded 12 points as the Rebels rallied to take a 35-32 lead at intermission, despite shooting 33.3 percent from the field.

Consecutive 3-pointers by Stringer helped LSU build a five-point lead early in the second half, but Henderson’s four-point play gave Ole Miss a 62-61 lead with 4:46 left. The Tigers regained a four-point lead before Jones made a layup and Summers’ jumper tied it at 69 with 30 seconds left in regulation.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Henderson, who was suspended for the first two SEC games for violating team rules in the offseason, made a 3-pointer in his 49th straight game to extend his school record and has 197 total in his second season at Ole Miss. … LSU leads the all-time series 117-87, but has dropped seven of the last eight meetings. … Ole Miss made 22-of-27 from the free-throw line and the Tigers were only 18-of-30.
