No. 17 Colorado 71, Washington State 70 (OT):
Josh Scott scored eight of his 19 points in overtime and fell one rebound shy of his sixth straight double-double as the visiting Buffaloes struggled to overtake the Cougars.

Askia Booker, the reigning Pac-12 Player of the Week, scored 18 points and was 13-for-14 from the free-throw line while Xavier Johnson added 14 for Colorado (3-0 Pac-12), which is 14-2 for the first time since the 1968-69 season. Spencer Dinwiddie, the Buffaloes' leading scorer at 15.8 points per game, finished with six.

Dexter Kernich-Drew scored a career-high 24 points and was 6-for-8 from 3-point range for Washington State (7-8, 0-3), which was without leading scorer DaVonte Lacy because of a rib injury. D.J. Shelton recorded 14 points and 12 rebounds while Royce Woolridge added 10 points and 11 assists and freshman Que Johnson scored 10.

Dinwiddie began a 9-2 run for Colorado with a 3-pointer - his first points of the game - with a little under eight minutes left in regulation and Xavier Johnson's free throws gave the Buffaloes their first lead 53-51 with 4:26 to go in the second half. Que Johnson forced overtime when he made a contested 3-pointer with 4.2 seconds left.

After Kernich-Drew recorded the first bucket in overtime, Scott scored eight of the next 10 Colorado points as the Buffaloes took a 66-60 lead. Booker's free throws with 19 seconds left stretched Colorado's advantage to 70-64 before Dinwiddie's free throw with 6.7 seconds left offset a pair of late 3-pointers by the Cougars.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Lacy (17.7 points per game), who played only 11 minutes in Sunday's 66-47 loss at Arizona State after missing two contests following an appendectomy, is also expected to sit out Sunday's game against Utah. ... Dinwiddie, who didn't take his first shot until the 11:21 mark of the second half and was 2-for-5 from the field, is an 85.3 percent free throw shooter but did not get to the line until making only 1-of-4 in the final 6.7 seconds - he purposely missed his final try - after averaging 7.5 attempts in the first 13 games this season. ... Washington State led 34-28 at the break and fell to 5-1 when ahead at the half.
