West Virginia 96, Loyola (Md.) 47: Remi Dibo and Terry Henderson combined for 35 points off the bench as the host Mountaineers crushed the Greyhounds.

Eron Harris added 14 points and seven rebounds for West Virginia (6-2), which outrebounded Loyola 62-22. Kevin Noreen scored all 13 of his points in the first half on 5-of-5 shooting while contributing eight rebounds for the Mountaineers and Nathan Adrian pitched in 11 points to go with nine boards.

Loyola's leading scorer Dylon Cormier was held to 11 points and was the only player in double figures for the Greyhounds (4-2). While Cormier shot a modest 4-of-7 from the field, teammates connected on just 15-of-49 field goal attempts as Loyola shot 33.9 percent.

West Virginia established a 47-20 lead at halftime largely on the efforts of Noreen. The Mountaineers dominated on the glass in the opening 20 minutes, ripping away 17 offensive boards to zero for the Greyhounds and outrebounding Loyola 34-7 overall in the first half.

After the break, the duo of Harris and Williams accounted for all but three points in a 19-9 run to start the second half as West Virginia opened up a 37-point lead. Things wouldn't get any better for Loyola as the Mountaineers extended their lead to as many as 51 down the stretch.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Mountaineers, who entered play shooting just 64.2 percent from the free throw line, knocked down 19-of-22 from the stripe. ... Cormier had cracked the 20-point mark in all five previous games this season. ... Dibo scored 19 and Henderson 16 for West Virginia, which improved to 35-21 against current members of the Patriot League with its second win in as many tries against Loyola.
