Scott Suggs scored a career-high 24 points to lead five players in double figures as the Huskies cruised to their eighth straight win against Seattle at KeyArena.

Aziz N'Diaye had 14 points and 11 rebounds and Desmond Simmons added 13 points and 12 boards for Washington (5-4), which shot 54.4 percent and led 46-19 with three minutes left in the first half.

Chad Rasmussen paced Seattle (3-4) with a season-high 19 points on 7-for-12 shooting, including five 3-pointers. The Redhawks were outrebounded 39-28 and made just 14 of their 27 free throws.

Seattle opened the second half on an 11-2 run and trailed 55-41 with 15:10 remaining, but Washington answered with an 11-3 run to put the game out of reach. C.J. Wilcox had 12 points and Abdul Gaddy added 11 for Washington, which set a season high for points scored and improved to 24-4 all-time against Seattle.

Washington transfer Clarence Trent scored 12 points for the Redhawks, who entered the contest averaging 42.2 rebounds. D'Vonne Pickett and Sterling Carter added nine points apiece.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Washington freshman PG Andrew Andrews missed his second straight game with a sprained ankle. … Seattle, which is coached by former Washington assistant Cameron Dollar, utilized a full-court press for much of the game. … Suggs was 7-for-10 shooting and a perfect 8-for-8 from the foul line while playing through leg cramps in the second half.
