Zach Graham scored 22 points and Nick Williams added 21 as Mississippi took down Murray State, 77-61, on Wednesday.

Chris Warren chipped in 10 points and five assists for the Rebels, who knocked down 22-of-23 free throw attempts and forced 18 turnovers.

Mississippi led, 34-23, at the half after ending the period on a 28-11 run. Graham scored nine points during the spurt and hit six free throws before the break. Neither team shot particularly well in the first half, with the Rebels going 10-of-28 (36 percent) while the Racers struggled to 7-of-26 (27 percent) from the floor.

Mississippi made up for the shooting slump with a strong rebounding effort, pulling down 21 boards - nine on the offensive end - to Murray State’s 10.

Isaiah Canaan led with 15 points and Jeffery McClain scored 11 for the Racers, who hit 9-of-18 3-pointers in suffering their first loss of the season.
