Andrew Carr led all scorers with 21 points and Wake Forest made 10 3-pointers and shot 52.3 percent from the field to earn an 85-63 victory over Boston College on Saturday night in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

Wake Forest (13-5, 5-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) entered the game leading the ACC in made 3-pointers per game (9.2) and converted 10 of its 26 attempts from behind the arc. Six Wake Forest players made at least one 3-pointer in the game. The Demon Deacons were 34 of 65 from the field overall.

Carr made 10 of his 14 field-goal attempts. Wake Forest received 20 points from Cameron Hildreth and 17 from Tyree Appleby.

Jaeden Zackery led BC with 14 points, and Makai Ashton-Langford finished with 12. Ashton-Langford, a graduate student who transferred from Providence, entered the game 28 points shy of 1,000 for his career.

The Eagles (8-10, 2-5) were within eight points early in the second half, but a 12-0 run later gave Wake Forest a 64-41 lead with 12:18 to play. The Demon Deacons led by as many as 26 points in the second half.

BC, which never led in the game, has lost three in a row.

Wake held a narrow 21-17 lead with 8:20 remaining in the first half, but the Demon Deacons went on a 14-0 run to increase their advantage to 35-17 with 5:11 left before the break. BC trailed 41-31 entering intermission.

The Demon Deacons shot 54.5 percent from the field in the first half (18 of 33). Carr made all seven shots he took in the half and had 15 points and five rebounds at the break. He scored Wake Forest's final nine points of the half.

Tony Henderson, one of the three on-court officials, suffered an ankle injury with 17:27 to play and did not return to the court.

The victory stretched Wake Forest's winning streak to three games.
