JD Notae poured in 23 points to go with 10 rebounds as No. 12 Arkansas turned back visiting Charlotte for an 86-66 victory Tuesday night in Fayetteville, Ark.

Davonte Davis supplied 18 points and eight assists, Jaylin Williams added 15 points and eight rebounds and Chris Lykes posted 13 points off the bench as the Razorbacks (9-0) wrapped up a four-game homestand.

Arkansas ended the game by scoring 13 of the final 15 points, with Davis racking up six points in that span. Overall, the Razorbacks made 53.1 percent of their shots from the field.

Dating to last season, Arkansas has won 17 consecutive regular-season games.

Austin Butler's 14 points and six rebounds and Jahmir Young's 10 points paced Charlotte (4-4). Jared Garcia and Aly Khalifa each had nine points.

After going 2-for-10 on 3-point attempts in the first half, the 49ers made four of their first seven long-range shots of the second half. The last of those was Luka Vasic's trey to pull Charlotte within 73-64 with less than six minutes remaining.

In that stretch, half of what had been an 18-point edge for Arkansas earlier in the half vanished.

Charlotte then went almost five minutes without scoring as the Razorbacks built their lead to 83-64.

Arkansas shot just 3-for-13 from 3-point range, with Notae going 1-for-6 from deep and the other two made 3-pointers coming from reserves. Charlotte missed its last five attempts from beyond the arc.

The Razorbacks also committed more turnovers (13 to 12) than Charlotte. The 49ers were 10-for-11 on free throws while Arkansas was 15-for-20.

Arkansas led 41-31 at halftime, with a 22-11 rebounding edge partly responsible for the margin. Half of the Razorbacks' first-half rebounds came at the offensive end.

The biggest spread in the first half was 33-20.

Arkansas won the only previous matchup with Charlotte 10 years ago in Fayetteville.
