Braelen Bridges scored 14 points and Jailyn Ingram added 12 as Georgia pulled away early from visiting Jacksonville for a 69-58 victory in a nonconference game on Tuesday in Athens, Ga.

Jabri Abdur-Rahim added 10 points, while Aaron Cook added nine points, five assists and five rebounds for Georgia (4-5), which has won two straight since ending a four-game losing streak with a win over then-No. 18 Memphis last week.

Bridges was a perfect 4 for 4 from the field and 6 for 8 from the free-throw line, while Ingram scored all of his points in the first half and finished 5 for 11 from the field. Jaxon Etter added eight points for the Bulldogs, who shot 48.9 percent from the field but just 5 for 20 from 3-point range.

The Bulldogs, who led by eight at halftime, held the Dolphins (4-3) without a field goal for the first 8:29 of the second half and led by as many as 16 points in the second half and never fewer than seven.

Jacksonville was led by Mike Marsh's 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Osayi Osifo added 11 points and five rebounds.

The Dolphins shot 33.9 percent from the field and 5-for-18 from beyond the arc. But Jacksonville couldn't overcome committing 17 turnovers that the Bulldogs converted into 15 points.

Georgia took control of the game late in the first half. Trailing 16-14 with 8:33 left, the Bulldogs ended the first half on an 18-8 run in which six different Bulldogs scored, led by Cook's five points during the spurt that enabled Georgia to take a 32-24 lead at halftime.

Georgia struggled mightily from 3-point range in the opening 20 minutes shooting 2 for 12. However, the Bulldogs were able to separate themselves by turning nine Dolphin turnovers into 12 points. Jacksonville didn't convert any of the Bulldogs' three first-half turnovers into points.
