The Hoosiers jumped to an early 23-7 lead, but North Alabama rallied back, cutting Indiana's lead to 26-18 on a driving layup by Youngblood in transition. Indiana answered with a 6-0 run that included an inside basket from Jackson-Davis and a 3-pointer from Franklin, building its lead back to 32-18.

Galloway then hit a 3-pointer to extend Indiana's lead to 35-21. A steal off an in-bounds pass and driving layup by Jordan Geronimo at the first half buzzer put Indiana up 40-24 at halftime. The Hoosiers overcame some early sloppiness, turning the ball over 11 times in the first half.

Indiana pulled away in the second half, shooting 53.3 percent from the field and 45 percent (9-20) from 3-point range.
