Moses Moody recorded 26 points and eight rebounds Saturday as Arkansas made just over 57 percent of its field goal attempts in a 92-71 win over Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn.

Jalen Tate added 25 points and eight assists for the Razorbacks (12-4 overall, 4-4 Southeastern Conference), while Justin Smith chipped in 12 points.

Arkansas held a 39-29 edge in rebounds and collected 22 assists off 36 made buckets, with all nine players picking up at least one helper.

D.J. Harvey scored 16 points to pace Vanderbilt (4-7, 0-5) and Scotty Pippen, Jr. added 15 points, plus five assists. Maxwell Evans contributed 14 points, but the Commodores didn't have enough firepower to hang with the SEC's second-highest scoring team.

Arkansas entered the game averaging 84.5 points per game, and had little problem exceeding that number against an opponent that couldn't stop the transition game or make stops in the halfcourt. Its lead was in double figures for all but 57 seconds of the second half.

The Razorbacks scored a whopping 48 points in the paint and converted 16 Vanderbilt turnovers into 18 points while adding 13 fast-break points. They converted 63.3 percent of their field goal attempts in the second half to close out the Commodores.

Arkansas never trailed, putting its stamp on the game immediately by scoring the first nine points. The lead reached double figures for the first time when Desi Sills canned a free throw at the 12:32 mark to make it 18-8.

Vanderbilt was able to stay within striking range for the half's remainder, though, as Ejike Obinna capped a 7-0 spurt with two free throws and a dunk that drew it within 18-15. Jordan Wright's two foul shots with 9:19 left again pulled the Commodores within three at 23-20.

But the Razorbacks established separation after that, pushing the margin to 40-30 on Vance Jackson's 3-pointer with 2:17 remaining. The lead reached 12 later before an Evans layup just before halftime made it 45-35 at intermission.
