Bradley pulled away early in the second half, as Kansas State struggled to find the range. The Wildcats missed their first seven shots before Williams made a second-chance layup with 13:51 left to cut the deficit to 44-39.

The Wildcats got to within 44-42 when Williams hit a 3-pointer, but Bradley answered with a 5-0 spurt.

When Henry grabbed an offensive rebound and got the put-back, it gave the Braves their largest lead of the game. Bradley gradually pulled away, reaching its first double-figure lead (61-51) with 5:52 left in the game.

The closest Kansas State could get the rest of the way was seven points at 63-56.

Both teams were more effective in the first half than they were in their semifinal losses. Bradley shot 54.2 percent from the field, including 7-of-12 from 3-point range in taking a 38-37 lead into the half. The Braves were led by Kennell with 10 points on 3-of-5 shooting from beyond the arc.

Sneed led all scorers with 11 points in the first half for Kansas State, which shot 48.3 percent from the field. Sneed was 5-of-5 from the free-throw line.

Kansas State has led in only one game this season, their loss to Pittsburgh on Monday night. The Wildcats have struggled from 3-point range this season, but they were 3-of-8 from long range in the first half against Bradley.
