Thomas Dziagwa scored 21 points, all coming on a career-high-tying seven 3-pointers, in Oklahoma State's 73-54 victory over College of Charleston in a nonconference game Wednesday at Charleston, S.C.

Lindy Waters III added 14 of his 16 points in the second half to help Oklahoma State's push after the game was tied at 30 at halftime. Dziagwa had nine points in the second half.

Isaac Likekele had 12 points and seven assists, Kalib Boone scored 10 points and Cameron McGriff added eight points and 10 rebounds for the Cowboys (3-0).

Charleston (2-1) was led by 18 by Jaylen McManus and 16 points by Grant Riller.

After Brevin Galloway made a 3-pointer to put Charleston ahead 36-32 with 18:04 left in regulation, Oklahoma State kept the Cougars scoreless for 5:22.

In that game-turning span, the Cowboys went on a 15-0 run to take a 47-36 lead. Charleston missed its five field goal attempts and committed three turnovers in that run while Dziawaga made two 3-pointers and McGriff had four points.

Oklahoma State increased its lead to 67-48 with 4:03 left on a 3-pointer by Waters, who made 2 of 4 shots from beyond the arc.

The Cowboys shot 55.6 percent from the field in the second half, including 5 of 9 from 3-point range. On the flipside, Charleston shot 34.8 percent from the field and 15.4 percent from beyond the arc after halftime.

The Cougars appeared as if they could take control of the game in the first half after building a 26-17 lead with 4:11 remaining.

Dziagwa made three 3-pointers to fuel a 13-2 run that enabled Oklahoma State to forge ahead 30-28 with 45 seconds left in the half.

The Cowboys tallied 12 assists and only four turnovers in the second half. McGriff had four assists and no turnovers in 19 minutes in the second half. He had only one assist with no turnovers in 18 minutes in the first half.
