UCLA sophomore Kris Wilkes scored 27 points, including two late 3-pointers in regulation, as the Bruins stopped a three-game losing streak by beating Cal 75-67 in overtime Wednesday night in Berkeley, Calif.

Wilkes added 10 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and third of his career. His five 3-pointers, on eight attempts, tied a career high.

UCLA (13-12, 6-6 Pac-12) also got 12 points apiece from David Singleton and Jaylen Hands.

Cal (5-19, 0-12) extended its school record by losing its 13th consecutive game. The Bears' regular-season conference losing streak reached 19 games.

Center Moses Brown made 1 of 2 free throws to give UCLA a 65-64 lead in overtime, and the Bruins went up 69-64 before Cal forward Justice Sueing answered with a 3-pointer with 1:35 to go. It was 71-67 when Cal's Connor Vanover missed two free throws with 44 seconds left.

Wilkes helped seal the win with two free throws.

Guard Darius McNeill scored 18 points to lead the Bears, who shot 33.8 percent (23 of 68) from the floor. Sueing scored 15, and Vanover added 12.

Brown had 11 rebounds for UCLA but was 2 of 9 from the free-throw line.

Wilkes gave UCLA a 61-59 lead on an open look from 3-point range with 1:15 to go in regulation. After Cal's Matt Bradley tied the game by sinking two free throws with 59 seconds left, Wilkes hit another 3-pointer on the ensuing possession, getting himself free off the dribble.

Bradley, who missed his first eight shots of the game, made it 64-all with a 3-pointer from the right corner with 27 seconds to go. On the final possession, Hands spent too much time dribbling up top, and Wilkes eventually had to settle for a contested 3-point attempt that missed at the buzzer.

UCLA bounced back from a painful 93-92 home loss to Utah on Saturday in which the Bruins blew a 22-point lead with 12:10 to go and lost on a buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

The Bruins didn't look ready to go at the start Wednesday. When UCLA missed its first eight shots, interim coach Murry Bartow took out his entire starting five just 3:07 into the game. The Bruins eventually missed their first nine attempts and had only two points through more than eight minutes.
