DePaul 71, St. John's 67 (OT): Myke Henry scored 19 points - including the go-ahead free throws with 13.6 seconds left - and pulled down 12 rebounds as the Blue Demons rallied to down the visiting Red Storm in overtime in a Big East matchup.

Billy Garrett Jr. went 13-for-13 from the free-throw line en route to 20 points for DePaul (10-9, 4-2), which rallied from an 11-point deficit in the second half. Aaron Simpson recorded 13 points and Jamee Crockett corralled eight rebounds for the Blue Demons, who finished 25-for-29 on foul shots.

Phil Greene IV and Rysheed Jordan scored 17 points apiece for St. John's (12-5, 1-4), which forced 22 turnovers. D'Angelo Harrison was limited to 11 points on 2-of-10 shooting and Sir'Dominic Pointer chipped in 10 for the Red Storm, who went 25-for-32 from the free-throw line.

Simpson drilled a clutch 3-pointer to put DePaul on top 56-55 but later could only split a pair of free throws, opening the door for Jordan's game-tying heroics at the foul line with eight seconds remaining that forced overtime. Forrest Robinson connected from beyond the arc to put the Blue Demons in front 66-63 before Jordan sank two free throws to knot it at 67, but Henry replied with two foul shots of his own to give DePaul a lead it wouldn't relinquish.

Greene scored five straight points as part of a 15-3 surge to end the first half as St. John's held DePaul to 22.2 percent shooting and forced 12 turnovers to take a 29-19 lead into intermission. Simpson and Henry knocked down two 3-pointers apiece during a 15-4 run to even the contest at 38 before Jordan attacked the rim for the Red Storm's first field goal in over six minutes to give them a 45-40 advantage.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Three of the last nine meetings have gone to overtime. … DePaul went 10-for-30 from 3-point range while St. John's finished 2-for-12. … The Blue Demons won the battle of the boards 43-30, grabbing 13 on the offensive glass.
