Memphis 99, UCF 79: Shaq Goodwin had 16 points and 10 rebounds off the bench as the Tigers had five players in double figures in an easy home win.

Nick King also had 16 points and Trahson Burrell added 11 points and 12 rebounds for Memphis (11-6, 4-2 American Athletic). Starters Markel Crawford (13 points) and Calvin Godfrey (12) were also in double figures for the Tigers, who outrebounded UCF 53-24.

Daiquan Walker led UCF (9-8, 2-4) with 18 points off the bench while B.J. Taylor hit 13-of-15 free-throws on the way to 17 points. Brandon Goodwin added 12 points and Justin McBride had nine points and nine boards.

Godrey blocked a 3-pointer and turned it into a fast-break layup in the opening minutes as Memphis jumped to a 13-3 lead and Burrell made it 18-7 with a 3-pointer six minutes into the game. Shaheed Davis snapped the Knights' 11-minute field-goal drought with a bucket with two minutes left in the half but Avery Woodson's 3-pointer gave Memphis a 16-point lead a minute later.

Austin Nichols opened the second half with his first bucket and Godfrey's blocked shot led to Crawford's fast break and a 43-28 lead. King hit a 3-pointer and Chris Hawkins took a midcourt turnover in for a dunk for a 65-42 Memphis lead with 12 minutes left and UCF never got closer than 17 the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Woodson (eight points) left the game early in the second half after inadvertently getting hit in the eye by McBride. ... Nichols, the Tigers' leading scorer, had a season-low four points. ... UCF freshmen Adonys Henriquez and Taylor, who entered the game leading the Knights in scoring, combined for 3-of-15 from the floor.
