No. 3 Arizona 76, Oregon State 54: Aaron Gordon scored 17 points and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson added 16 as the Wildcats routed the visiting Beavers.

T.J. McConnell added 11 points, six rebounds and six assists for Arizona (23-1, 10-1 Pac-12), which won its second straight following a two-point loss at California. Nick Johnson scored 10 points and Kaleb Tarczewski collected eight points and seven rebounds to help the Wildcats post their sixth consecutive win over the Beavers.

Angus Brandt led Oregon State (13-10, 5-6) with 14 points while Devon Collier had 10 points and two blocks. Leading scorer Roberto Nelson was held to 10 points on 3-of-12 shooting for the Beavers, who suffered their largest margin of defeat this season while being outrebounded 39-24.

Arizona closed the first half on a 12-3 run and led 37-27 at the break, and Gordon scored with just under 10 minutes remaining to push the lead to 55-39. The Wildcats shot 55.2 percent in the first half and held the Beavers to two offensive rebounds.

Jordin Mayes scored a season-high nine points off the bench for Arizona, which defeated Oregon State for the 30th time in the last 31 meetings at the McKale Center. Gordon, who was 11-for-42 from the field over his previous four games, made eight of his 12 shots and contributed five rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Nelson, who entered the game averaging a Pac-12-best 21.8 points, missed all three of his 3-point attempts and was 4-of-4 from the foul line. … Both teams struggled from 3-point range, with Arizona shooting 3-of-12 and Oregon State missing eight of its 12 shots. … Eric Moreland had a game-high eight rebounds for the Beavers, who were looking to post their first win over a top-five opponent since 2000.
