Texas 71, Texas Tech 69 (OT): Julien Lewis scored 15 points, including the game-winning basket with three seconds left in overtime, to cap the visiting Longhorns' rally.

Sheldon McClellan had a career-high 27 points off the bench for the Longhorns (15-16, 7-11 Big 12), who will be the seventh seed at the Big 12 tournament. Texas trailed by as many as 17 points and forced overtime on Myck Kabongo's free throw with three seconds left.

Jaye Crockett led the Red Raiders (10-19, 3-15) with 15 points and Josh Gray and Jordan Tolbert each chipped in 11. Texas Tech, which will be the ninth seed, went 20-of-37 from the free-throw line, including 2-of-6 in overtime.

Lewis' free throws in overtime gave Texas its first lead since the first basket of the game and McClellan made it 69-66 with 2:28 left. Crockett had the chance to give his team the lead but missed his second free-throw attempt with 24 seconds left.

Texas Tech led 34-17 with 5:29 left in the first half but had one field goal in the next 12 minutes as the Longhorns rallied to tie the game at 39 with 15:32 left. The Red Raiders pushed the lead back to as many as nine before McClellan scored six of his team's last seven points as the teams traded single free throws in the final 15 seconds.
