No. 7 Miami-Florida 62, Clemson 49: Kenny Kadji had a season-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, and 12 rebounds to lead the host Hurricanes past the Tigers and give Miami its first ACC regular-season title since joining the conference for the 2004-05 season.

Shane Larkin came off the bench and scored 11 points for Miami (24-6, 15-3 ACC), which will be the No. 1 seed in next week's ACC tournament. Trey McKinney Jones added 10 points for the Hurricanes, who improved to 14-1 at home and came into the game having lost three of four contests, including two straight, after a 14-game win streak.

Jordan Roper scored 12 points to lead Clemson (13-17, 5-13), which lost its sixth straight game for the first time since an eight-game slide from Jan. 12-Feb. 10, 2002. Devin Booker added 11 points for the Tigers, who fell to 3-9 on the road and have not beaten a ranked opponent this season.

Roper scored the Tigers’ first 12 points on 5-for-5 shooting and outscored Miami 12-11 until Rion Brown’s 3-pointer put the Hurricanes up 14-12. The game was tied at 25 at halftime before Miami started the second half with a 13-5 run and pulled away to win its second conference championship since sharing the Big East title in 2000.

Miami outrebounded Clemson 35-21. The Hurricanes improved to 9-11 in the series and have won three straight meetings, including 45-43 at Clemson on Feb. 17.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Miami tied the school record for victories set by the 2001-02 team, which went 24-8. … Larkin, a sophomore, came off the bench for the first time this season so seniors Kadji, McKinney Jones, Reggie Johnson, Julian Gamble and Durand Scott could start their final home game together. … Clemson freshman F K.J. McDaniels, who missed the previous three games with an ankle injury, came off the bench and had nine points and a team-high six rebounds.
