Vanderbilt 63, Georgia 62: Kevin Bright sank the winning jumper with 0.6 seconds remaining as the host Commodores beat Georgia for the eighth consecutive time.

Kedren Johnson's 17 points led Vanderbilt (12-15, 6-9 SEC), while Sheldon Jeter scored 14 to equal a career high. The Commodores made 13 of 27 field goals in the second half while rallying from a 34-22 halftime deficit.

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope paced Georgia (13-15, 7-8 SEC) with 20 points and 14 rebounds, but went 5-of-16 from the floor.

Vanderbilt missed its first nine attempts from the field and shot 25 percent in the first half. Georgia still held a 47-36 advantage with 10:59 remaining in the game, but Vanderbilt went on a 14-0 run to take its first lead.

Two free throws by Charles Mann staked Georgia to a 62-61 lead with 42 seconds left. Bright missed a 3-pointer on the ensuing possession and the Bulldogs rebounded, but Georgia turned it over to set up Bright's eventual game-winning shot.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bright finished with 11 points, and has made eight 3-pointers in the past two games. ... Georgia played without freshman G Kenny Gaines, who was out with a heel injury. ... Georgia hasn't beaten Vanderbilt in Nashville since the 2005-06 season.
