No. 25 San Diego State 75, Fresno State 53: Jamaal Franklin scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds and the Aztecs smothered the visiting Bulldogs in a Mountain West Conference showdown.

James Rahon also had 14 points for San Diego State (18-5, 6-3), which held Fresno State to a dismal 29.3 percent mark from the floor in recording its most lopsided league win this season.

Tyler Johnson led the Bulldogs (8-14, 2-7) with 14 points. Braeden Anderson, a Kansas transfer playing his second game for Fresno State, chipped in 12.

Despite shooting 24.1 percent (7-for-29) in the first half, the Bulldogs pulled within six points when Kevin Foster opened the second with a layup. However, the Aztecs scored the next 13 points over five-plus minutes, including Rahon's 3-pointer with 15:52 left, and dominated the rest of the way.

San Diego State took its largest lead at 57-28 on Rahon's jumper with 9:09 remaining. It shot 58.6 percent during a 50-point second half
