Oregon State 82, Utah 64: Roberto Nelson scored a game-high 26 points and Joe Burton nearly notched a triple-double as the host Beavers snapped a three-game skid in a Pac-12 Conference game.

Burton finished 17 points, 10 assists and seven rebounds as the Beavers beat the Utes by 18 points at home for the second straight season. Eric Moreland had nine points, 15 rebounds and four blocked shots for the Beavers and Devon Collier finished with eight points leaving him with 999 for his career.

Utah (10-12, 2-8 Pac-12) was led by Brandon Taylor, who scored a career-high 21 points and added six assists in his second start. Jarred DuBois had 20 points, but no other Ute reached double figures.

The Beavers (12-11, 2-8) took the lead for good on a free throw by Nelson with 4:49 to play in the first half. Nelson went 9-for-9 from the line in the first half and Oregon State led 34-25 at the break.

The Beavers then extended the lead to as much as 18 on a layup by Challe Barton with 13:21 to play. The Utes used a 10-2 run to get back in the game, but never got closer than eight the rest of the way.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah C Dallin Bachynski returned to the team after taking a break from basketball. He played briefly and scored two points. ...Nelson has scored 20 points in three straight games. ...Utah won at Washington in its last road game. It was the first Pac-12 road win for Utah since it joined the conference.
