Florida State 56, Georgia Tech 54: Michael Snaer's driving bank shot at the buzzer lifted the visiting Seminoles to their eighth straight win over the Yellow Jackets.

Snaer led Florida State (13-9, 5-4 ACC) with 15 points, hitting 3-of-5 3-pointers, and notched his fifth game-winning shot in a year.

Georgia Tech's Mfon Udofia banked in a straightaway 3-pointer to tie it at 54 with a minute left. After a Florida State turnover, Udofia missed a 3-pointer, setting up Snaer's heroics. Udofia was screened as Snaer drove the right side of the lane and scooped it in off the glass.

The Yellow Jackets (12-9, 2-7) had no double-figure scorers, with Daniel Miller and Brandon Reed pacing the team with nine points apiece.

Kiel Turpin and Boris Bojanovsky each scored 10 points for the Seminoles, who won despite committing 16 turnovers. Okaro White grabbed 10 rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: The Yellow Jackets fell to 10-3 at their new arena, McCamish Pavilion. … Florida State improved to 6-1 in its last seven games decided by five or fewer points. … Miller started his 83rd straight game and had four assists, three offensive rebounds and a block while shooting 3-of-4 from the field.
