West Virginia 60, Texas 58: Deniz Kilicli and Jabarie Harris scored 14 points apiece as the host Mountaineers completed a season sweep of the Longhorns.

Eron Harris added 13 points for West Virginia (11-11, 4-5 Big 12), which has won consecutive games for the first time as a member of the Big 12 Conference. Mountaineers leading scorer Aaric Murray (10.1) was held to one point, but grabbed eight rebounds.

Sheldon McClellan led Texas (10-12, 2-7) with 14 points, but shot 2-of-10 from the field and made 9-of-12 free throws. Freshman Javan Felix scored all 12 of his points in the second half, but missed his final three shots as the Longhorns missed their last eight over the final 4:37 after West Virginia went to a zone defense.

West Virginia held a 44-33 advantage before the Longhorns used a 16-5 run - 10 points by Felix - to take a 49-47 lead. Texas went up 54-53 on Julien Lewis' 3-pointer from the top of the key with 4:37 remaining before the Mountaineers regained the lead for good on a short jumper by Harris with 4:02 remaining.

After McClellan made 2 of 3 foul shots, Murray made 1 of 2 with 10 seconds left to give West Virginia a 60-56 lead. Murray fouled McClellan on a 3-point attempt with seventh-tenths of a second left and after McClellan made the first two free throws and purposely missed the third, Murray grabbed the rebound.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Hinds landed on his right foot at the same time his left leg cramped up after hitting a mid-range jumper from the corner with 14:24 remaining. He landed awkwardly, was treated instantly and returned nearly two minutes later. ... The five meetings between the teams have been decided by four points or less. ... Murray was 0-for-3 from the field after going 16-of-29 in his previous three games.
