No. 19 Oregon 81, Washington 76: E.J. Singler scored 18 points as the host Ducks continued their best start in conference play since 1925-26.

Carlos Emory scored nine of his 11 points in the first half and Arsalan Kazemi finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Oregon (18-2, 7-0 Pac-12).

Five players scored in double figures for Washington, led by Andrew Andrews with 15 points. C.J. Wilcox added 14 points and Scott Suggs and Abdul Gaddy contributed 13 apiece for the Huskies (12-8, 4-3), who have lost three straight conference games.

Wilcox scored off a turnover with 7:52 remaining in the first half to give the Huskies their first lead in the last three games. Washington shot 13-for-20 in the first half but committed 15 turnovers and trailed 37-33 heading into the break. Oregon shot 13-for-22 in the opening half with 12 giveaways.

Oregon used a 7-0 run to take a 50-40 lead with 14:23 remaining in the game. Washington cut the deficit to four with 31 seconds left, but Oregon held off the Huskies at the free-throw line. The Ducks finished 26-for-45 from the field (57.8 percent) and committed 23 turnovers. Washington was 27-for-52 (51.9) with 21 giveaways.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Oregon freshman PG Dominic Artis sat out with a foot injury. He’s one of five starters averaging double figures in scoring for the Ducks. Johnathan Loyd, a junior, started in his place. Loyd and backup Willie Moore scored nine points apiece but combined for nine turnovers. … The Ducks have won 20 straight games at Matthew Knight Arena. The longest home-winning streak in program history is 23 from 1937-39 and 2001-03. … Oregon’s last six conference wins have come by nine points or less.
