California 62, Utah 57: Allen Crabbe scored a game-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, and the visiting Bears evened their conference record while forcing 17 turnovers.

Tyrone Wallace added 12 points and eight assists for California (11-7, 2-3 Pac-12), which recorded 14 of its 16 steals in the first half and defeated the Utes for the fourth straight game.

Jason Washburn had 14 points and seven rebounds for Utah (9-10, 1-6), and his 3-pointer cut the lead to 58-55 with 30 seconds left before California made four straight free throws to secure the win.

Jordan Loveridge chipped in 12 points and nine boards for Utah, which was unable to build on its upset win over Washington on Saturday. Glen Dean and Brandon Taylor added 10 points apiece.

Crabbe hit a 3-pointer to put California ahead 44-29 with 13:57 remaining, and Utah trailed by double digits until late in the game, when Taylor’s 3-pointer cut the lead to 53-45 with 4:46 to play.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Utah G Jarred DuBois, averaging 12.5 points, was held out of the starting lineup due to a migraine and finished with three points. … California G Brandon Smith scored three points after missing six games due to a concussion. … Crabbe recorded his 10th 20-point game of the season and 23rd of his career.
