Maryland 64, Boston College 59: Center Alex Len had 16 points and 13 rebounds and the host Terrapins sent the visiting Eagles to their third consecutive defeat.

Jake Layman added 15 points and Nick Faust had 11 points and seven rebounds as Maryland (15-4, 3-3 ACC) registered its highest point total in the past five games.

Ryan Anderson scored 19 points and freshman Olivier Hanlan added 18 for Boston College (9-9, 1-4), which has lost its last three games by a total of nine points.

The Terrapins surged ahead with a 12-1 run to take a 52-44 lead on Len's dunk with 8:52 to play. The Eagles rallied and pulled within 56-52 on Hanlan's three-point play at the 5:00 mark before both offenses bogged down.

Neither team scored for nearly three minutes until Maryland's Dezmine Wells broke the drought with a layup with 2:07 left before Faust buried a 3-pointer 26 seconds later to make it 61-54.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Len had his fifth double-double of the season to give the Terrapins their fifth win in the last 12 meetings versus Boston College. ... The Eagles finished 9-of-28 from behind the arc. They missed their first eight 3-point attempts and hit their next five before going cold. ... Boston College's four conference losses have come by a total of 14 points.
