No. 9 Florida 74, Louisiana State 52: Kenny Boynton scored 20 points to go with seven rebounds and Patric Young added 14 points and seven boards as the visiting Gators won their fourth straight contest and remained unbeaten in Southeastern Conference play.

Erik Murphy chipped in 12 points and seven rebounds and Will Yeguete contributed 10 points and 13 boards off the bench for Florida (12-2, 2-0 SEC), which has won the past four meetings with the Tigers by an average of 13.8 points.

Anthony Hickey scored 15 points and Shavon Coleman added 11 off the bench for LSU (9-4, 0-2), which dropped to 3-4 since a 6-0 start and fell to 8-1 at home this season.

The Tigers kept it close for most of the first half but never led by more than two. The Gators closed the half on a 6-0 run and held LSU without a field goal for the final 5:38 of the half to take a 29-20 lead into the locker room.

Florida opened the second half with a 21-5 spurt to make it 50-25 and the margin never slipped to single digits again. LSU shot just 32.3 percent (21-of-65) en route to a season low for scoring for the second consecutive game. The Tigers scored 63 points in a loss at Auburn on Wednesday.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Florida has allowed 60 points or fewer in 10 of its 14 games. … Hickey, who entered the game averaging 3.5 steals - second-most in the nation - had four of the Tigers' seven steals. … The Gators improved to 13-33 all-time against LSU, including 5-4 under coach Billy Donovan.
