Colorado 98, Northern Arizona 51: Freshman Xavier Johnson scored a season-high 17 points as the host Buffaloes rolled to the victory over the Lumberjacks.

Askia Booker also scored 17 points and Spencer Dinwiddie added 15 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals for Colorado (9-2).

Freshman DeWayne Russell scored 15 points and Max Jacobsen had 10 for Northern Arizona (4-7).

Colorado shot 71.4 percent from the floor in the first half (25-for-35) while building a 57-21 lead. The Buffaloes shot 6-for-10 from 3-point range in the opening 20 minutes but just 1-for-7 from the free-throw line. They finished 11-for-20 beyond the arc and 7-for-15 from the stripe.

Colorado junior forward Andre Roberson entered the week averaging 12.1 points and 12.3 rebounds, which ranked third in the nation. He finished with 10 points and eight rebounds while sitting out most of the second half.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Northern Arizona came into the week averaging 15.6 assists, tops in the Big Sky Conference, and was 0-5 when producing 18 assists or less. The Lumberjacks finished with six. … Jacobsen entered the game leading the Big Sky in field-goal percentage at 60.4. He shot 4-for-6 from the field. … Colorado doubled up on the Lumberjacks in rebounding 42-21.
