Auburn 81, Tennessee Tech 62: Freshman Jordan Price scored all 12 of his points during a 12-2 first-half run, leading the host Tigers past the Golden Eagles.

Chris Denson scored 20 points to lead Auburn (5-5), which extended its winning streak to three games. Price hit three free throws and three 3-pointers in a 3-minute, 20-second span of the first half during which the Tigers turned a 6-4 advantage into an 18-6 lead.

Jud Dillard scored 22 points for Tennessee Tech (6-5). Dennis Ogbe added 14 points for the Golden Eagles, who shot just 1-for-18 from 3-point range.

Leading by eight points late in the first half, the Tigers closed the half with a 12-3 surge to take a 38-21 halftime lead. Josh Wallace added a season-high 11 points with seven assists and three steals for Auburn.

Price is 11-for-11 on 3-point attempts in his past three games. Northwestern’s Todd Leslie holds the NCAA record for most consecutive made 3-pointers with 15, set in 1990.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Auburn’s Frankie Sullivan, second in the SEC in scoring at 17.7 points, finished with five points (all from the free-throw line). … The Golden Eagles missed their first 14 3-point attempts. Ammanuel Diressa broke the skid with 10:02 remaining. … Denson brought the home crowd to its feet with a driving left-handed dunk over Matt Marseille with 6:38 left in the first half.
