Colorado 50, Fresno State 43: Junior Andre Roberson had 17 points and a career-high 20 rebounds for his 30th career double-double, and the visiting Buffaloes are 8-2 for the first time since 2001.

Askia Booker scored 14 points and freshman Josh Scott added 11 points and eight rebounds for Colorado, which was averaging 72.1 points. The Buffaloes blew a 10-point halftime lead before regaining control with a 9-0 run midway through the second half - highlighted by Roberson's alley-oop basket assisted by Sabatino Chen - to snap a 32-32 tie.

Kevin Foster had eight points and eight rebounds for Fresno State, which shot 29.6 from the field. The Bulldogs (5-5), who were 295th among the 347 Division I teams in scoring at 60.8 points, got to within 45-43 on Tyler Johnson's basket with 29 seconds left before Colorado hit 5 of 6 free throws down the stretch to seal it after missing eight of its first 15 attempts.

Colorado scored the final nine points of the first half to take a 27-17 lead. Roberson, who entered the game averaging 11.6 points and 11.4 rebounds - sixth in the country, had nine points and 10 rebounds prior to intermission en route to his fifth double-double in the last six games.

Fresno State opened the second half with an 8-0 run before Roberson's putback with 14:47 remaining. The Buffaloes, who missed nine of their first 10 shots after intermission, didn't score again until two Scott free throws gave them a 31-30 lead with 11:41 left.

GAME NOTEBOOK:
Colorado, which lost at Fresno State 69-14 in football on Sept. 15, bounced back from a 90-54 defeat at Kansas on Saturday, the worst loss in coach Tad Boyle's two-plus seasons. ... Fresno State didn't commit a foul in the second half until the 11:57 mark. ... Colorado improved to 3-1 against Mountain West Conference teams this season.
