: Senior guard Michael Snaer's 19 points led the host Seminoles to an easy win over the Black Bears.

Freshman Aaron Thomas came off the bench to score a career-high 15 points, while sophomore Terry Whisnant II finished with 14 for Florida State (5-4). Okaro White added 13 points and seven boards.

By halftime, Florida State had jumped out to a 41-27 lead. Maine (3-6), which never led, could not get any closer than 12 in the second half.

Maine failed to create turnovers as the Seminoles committed seven, including just one in the second half. The Black Bears turned the ball over 19 times. Maine did win the rebounding battle, 39-36.

Freshman Justin Edwards continued to lead Maine, recording 19 points, 12 rebounds and five assists. Mike Allison added nine points and 11 rebounds, while Dimitry Akanda-Coronel led the Maine bench with 11.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Maine struggled from 3-point range, connecting on just five of its 21 tries. Florida State was 11-of-24 from beyond the arc. … The Seminoles now lead the all-time series 3-0 over the Black Bears.
