Western Michigan 58, South Florida 53: Brandon Pokley scored a team-high 15 points on 6-of-8 shooting to lead the visiting Broncos to their fourth straight win in the final game of the USF Invitational.

South Florida led 48-47 with 5:38 to play before a Nate Hutcheson layup sparked an 8-2 run for Western Michigan, putting the Broncos (4-1) ahead for good. Hutcheson finished with 11 points.

Senior Shaun Noriega led the offense for the Bulls (2-2), pouring in 16 points - including a stretch of six straight that helped USF regain the lead for the last time.

Freshman Darius Paul chipped in 14 points and a game-high eight rebounds for the Broncos. Paul has now scored 10 or more in four straight games.

Sophomore Anthony Collins dished out a career-high 12 assists for the Bulls.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Western Michigan finishes the USF Invitational with three wins in as many tries, also knocking off Maryland-Eastern Shore and Loyola-Chicago... The Broncos had enjoyed blowout wins in their last three outings, winning by an average of 24 points before the close decision over South Florida... The Bulls shot 36.4 percent from the floor in their opener, before improving to a 50 percent clip in their first two games of the tournament. Against Western Michigan, South Florida connected on just 37 percent from the field.
