Austin Rivers led with 20 points, and Seth Curry and Ryan Kelly chipped in 17 apiece as No. 6 Duke held off No. 15 Michigan, 82-75, in the semifinals of the EA Sports Maui Invitational on Tuesday.

Andre Dawkins knocked down four 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for the Blue Devils (6-0), who improved to 14-0 all-time in Maui and will go for their fifth title in the tournament against UCLA or Kansas on Wednesday.

The Wolverines (4-1) were looking for some revenge after getting knocked out of the NCAA Tournament in the second round by Duke last spring.

But after putting on a defensive show in a victory over No. 8 Memphis on Monday, Michigan allowed the Blue Devils to shoot 65 percent in the first half and jump out to a 34-22 lead.

The Wolverines quickly cut it to 37-33 early in the second half but never managed to take the lead, falling behind by as much as 66-49 when Dawkins buried a 3-pointer with 7:32 remaining. Duke would not make a field goal over the final 5:03 but went 13 of 16 from the free throw line down the stretch to seal it.

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored all 19 of his points in the second half and Trey Burke chipped in 17 points and nine assists for Michigan.
