UNLV 74, Wyoming 63: Mike Moser had 17 points and 12 rebounds as the No. 17 Rebels dispatched the visiting Cowboys.

Brice Massamba scored 15 points, Kendall Wallace had 14 and Anthony Marshall added 12 as UNLV (25-7, 9-5 Mountain West) improved to 17-0 at home this season.

Francisco Cruz scored 16 points and Luke Martinez added 15 points for Wyoming (20-10, 6-8).

The two teams will meet again in Thursday’s opening round of the Mountain West postseason tournament, hosted by the third-seeded Rebels. Wyoming is the sixth seed.

The Cowboys trailed 50-47 after a 3-pointer by Cruz with 12 minutes remaining before Wallace scored seven straight points on a 3-pointer and a rare four-point play to give the Rebels a 10-point lead with 10:53 to go.

UNLV jumped out to a 19-8 lead after two free throws by Oscar Bellfield with 12:33 left in the half. The Rebels were again up by 11 after a 3-pointer by Moser just past the midway point before Wyoming rolled off seven consecutive points. UNLV led 36-32 at halftime.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Bellfield had nine assists to raise his career total to 563, one shy of the conference’s all-time record held by New Mexico’s Dairese Gary (564 from 2007-11). … Wyoming committed 18 turnovers after having only one against TCU in its last game. … The Rebels are 19-3 at home against Wyoming. … Cruz had four 3-pointers for the third time this season.
