OKLAHOMA STATE 60, TEXAS A&M 42:
Brian Williams scored 17 points, and the Cowboys used a solid second-half defensive effort to blow past the visiting Aggies.

Keiton Page added 15 points and Markel Brown had 12 for Oklahoma State (14-15, 7-9 Big 12), which was playing without star freshman Le’Bryan Nash, who injured his left arm in a loss at Oklahoma earlier in the week.

Surprisingly, though, the short-handed Cowboys got more bench production than Texas A&M (13-15, 4-12 Big 12). The Aggies’ five reserve players combined for only two points on 0-of-6 shooting, while Oklahoma State reserves Cezar Guerrero and Marek Soucek scored nine combined points.

Brown scored 10 first-half points to help Oklahoma State build a 29-26 halftime lead, and then the little-used Soucek scored four quick second-half points to stretch the lead even more. Soucek found Williams for a 3-pointer with 17:12 left that made it 38-27.

Later, Williams’ dunk and 3-pointer on back-to-back possessions helped the Cowboys’ lead balloon to 46-31 with 12:47 remaining.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Texas A&M scored 16 second-half points … Page has 107 points in his last four games … The Aggies snapped a four-game winning streak against the Cowboys.
