WAKE FOREST 85, BOSTON COLLEGE 56: C.J. Harris and Travis McKie combined for 44 points as the host Demon Deacons won for the second time in three games and sent the Eagles to their fourth consecutive loss.

Wake Forest (13-15, 4-10 ACC) shot 56 percent and had no trouble stopping Boston College, which entered as the lowest-scoring team in the ACC. The Demon Deacons, who rank last in the conference in scoring defense, forced 15 turnovers and easily set the pace.

Wake Forest took a 38-29 lead into the half and opened the second period with a 19-9 burst to stretch it out. Carson Desrosiers hit a pair of 3-pointers during that run and finished with 13 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

The Demon Deacons continued to pile on, stretching it past 30 points as they emptied the bench.

Ryan Anderson was the lone bright spot for the Eagles (8-20, 3-11) with 18 points and nine rebounds.

GAME NOTEBOOK: Wake Forest shot 9 for 14 (64 percent ) from 3-point range … Boston College will try to avoid falling into last place in the ACC when it hosts Georgia Tech on Wednesday … The Demon Deacons are tied for ninth place with two left.
