MIAMI 78, DUKE 74: Reggie Johnson scored five of his career-high 27 points in overtime and added 12 rebounds as visiting Miami upset No. 5 Duke, 78-74.

Kenny Kadji chipped in 15 points for the Hurricanes (14-7, 5-3 ACC), who added a signature win to their NCAA Tournament bubble resume. It was the first win ever for Miami at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Johnson hit a jumper and sank a pair of free throws to begin overtime and sealed it with another from the line in the final second.

The Blue Devils missed all six of their free throw attempts in the extra period.

The Hurricanes broke out with a 23-6 run to close the first half and take a 42-28 lead into the break. The lead would grow to 53-37 with 14:23 left in the game before Duke began to fight back.

Ryan Kelly and Seth Curry hit back-to-back 3-pointers to spark a 16-2 run over the next six minutes. Durant Scott stopped the bleeding with four free throws to keep the Hurricanes in the lead but the Blue Devils kept charging.

They pulled to within a point on Austin Rivers’ three-point play and took their first lead of the half when Curry buried a jumper to make it 66-65 with 2:49 remaining.

Rivers split a pair of free throws with 22 seconds left to knot it at 69 and force overtime.
